Flexible pipe coupling are flexible connectors fabricated of nature rubber or synthetic elastomers, steel ring and fabrics, and when necessary, metallic reinforcements provide stress relief in piping systems due to thermal and mechanical vibration and/or movements. ZHW® flexible pipe coupling provide relief from stresses caused by thermal expansion and contraction in pipelines. Movement is always experienced in piping systems due to varying ambient temperatures, differences in temperature of materials handled, and differences in composition. Expansion joints absorb this movement and eliminate the danger of buckling or pulling apart with the high replacement costs that would result.
ZHW ® Engineers can solve anticipated problems of vibration, noise, shock, corrosion, abrasion, stresses and space by incorporating rubber expansion joints into designed piping systems.
Description
ZHW flexible pipe coupling have earned a reputation for consistent, superior performance, giving you full confidence in their quality and reliability.
The dimensional flexibility of pipe couplings ensures leak-proof pipe seals on virtually any pipe material: plastic, cast iron, asbestos cement, clay, concrete, steel, copper and ductile iron. All flexible couplings are clearly marked with part number, size, and pipe material that the coupling will connect to.
ZHW makes fast delivery of stock items with no minimum order required. For special applications, our custom design service can supply couplings to individual customer requirements..
