Rubber expansion joints are flexible connectors fabricated of nature rubber or synthetic elastomers, steel ring and fabrics, and when necessary, metallic reinforcements provide stress relief in piping systems due to thermal and mechanical vibration and/or movements. ZHW® Rubber Expansion Joints provide relief from stresses caused by thermal expansion and contraction in pipelines. Movement is always experienced in piping systems due to varying ambient temperatures, differences in temperature of materials handled, and differences in composition. Expansion joints absorb this movement and eliminate the danger of buckling or pulling apart with the high replacement costs that would result.
ZHW ® Engineers can solve anticipated problems of vibration, noise, shock, corrosion, abrasion, stresses and space by incorporating rubber expansion joints into designed piping systems.
Description
ZHW Clamp Type Rubber Expansion Joint Series CT600 is a single or double super-wide flowing arch design. It’s self-cleaning, which eliminates the need for a filled arch design and makes it the perfect choice for slurries. The Series CT600 can replace and be interchanged with hand-built narrow/wide arch, molded wide arch, and spherical type expansion joints.
Some of the notable features and benefits of the ZHW Series CT600 are:
- Length of product customization
- Tough quality and Widely Service
- Absorption of Vibration, Noise and Shock
- Wide Range of Flange Materials Available
- Reduced Turbulence or Material Entrapment
- Compensation for Misalignment
